Age Calculator

Age Calculator works out an exact age in years, months, and days from a date of birth. It also shows totals — total days, weeks, hours, and minutes since birth — and counts down to the next birthday with the day of the week. By default it calculates for today, but you can pick any reference date to find someone's age on a past or future day. The tool runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Useful for sensitive personal data — birth dates, anniversaries, customer ages — that you'd rather not paste into a third-party site. Common uses include calculating exact age for a form that requires "years, months, days" precision, working out how old someone was on a historical date, planning surprise milestones (the day someone will be exactly 10,000 days old, for instance), figuring out how many days are left until a birthday, and converting between age units when filling out medical or legal paperwork. Age is computed using the calendar method most regulators prefer: years are full years that have passed, months are completed months since the most recent birthday, and days are completed days since that month boundary. This produces the same answer almost everyone expects — for instance, someone born on 31 January will be "0 months and 28 days" old in non-leap-year February, not 0 months and 29 days.
